I completed my bachelors and masters in Biotechnology and wanted to pursue my career in genetics research. I worked on basic science project that involved understanding role of a couple of oncogenes in development process in Drosophila melanogaster. After PhD, I received an opportunity to work on an HTS of small molecule library project in collaboration with a pharmaceutical company. Then I joined PerkinElmer as Field Applications Scientist to participate in pre-sales and post-sales process of PerkinElmer Discovery solutions portfolio. I support the expansion of customer adoption of PerkinElmer technologies by providing demonstrations and application development.
