Bio:

Ayo Ogunye is currently a Career Counselor at the University of Houston-Main Campus. She works with current students, recent graduates and experienced Alumni’s, serves as the liaison for Valenti School of Communication, the Office of International Student Services and the Center for Students with Disabilities. She has over 15 years of experience providing professional and career development services to 15 Workforce Development programs in the Houston Galveston area, before transitioning to higher education. She has a passion for empowering individuals to realize their potential while developing actionable and attainable career development strategies.

What I love most about my job:

 I love the fact that the opportunities to be creative and innovative are unlimited. I particularly love meeting people and I am energized by helping people make long-term decisions. The highlight for me is seeing myself as someone who improves and the lives and circumstances of people around me.
