Networking workshop description:

Landing a job is about networking. If you don’t connect well, you lose out on major opportunities. This workshop is designed to help you network successfully. You will learn to position yourself as a great fit for competitive positions. Previous students have used these skills to land jobs at institutions such as NASA and Facebook.

Bio:

I co-founded Stanford Leaders in Communication, a program dedicated to supporting post-doctoral scholars at Stanford University. I am author of two books on pitching and persuasion, and currently lecture at Rice University in the Engineering School.

What I love most about my job:

Happiness at work is most correlated to relationships with people in the office. I enjoy engaging my team, who make the daily experience of being at work real and rewarding.
